The story so far:
The Sub Rosa Organization forces (SRO for now on) airdropped into the AO 20 days ago. Their jump was botched up. SRO Intelligence operatives are still trying to figure out what went wrong. Foul play is suspected. After regrouping, SRO forces attempted to infiltrate Pirates defense lines and capture a vital communications tower. They were unsuccessful. Pirate forces escorted a Global Council on Piracy Operative to an important meeting with local pirate leadership. The meeting took place successfully while a major battle took place outside the meeting point. SRO forces were tasked with capturing the GCOP operative, but assassinated him instead. This was a major blow to the Piracy movement in the Southwest. The Pirates won the day, but this was a pyrrhic victory. Both sides retreated to strengthen positions and began plotting what to do next.

The Pirates celebrated with much drinking and much more training. Their troops had never won a battle in open ground (being more a guerrilla force). SRO forces communicated with their superiors back in Europe. The SRO higher ups were furious with their forces on the ground for not capturing the GCOP intelligence operative. Pay cuts and leadership replacements were threatened. SRO has decided to continue with the operation due to high value of the area.

The most strange issue at hand, is that no government is getting involved in this conflict. No one can figure this one out.

We are starting to fill out teams for this op as well. And yes, there is a carry over to be had from the August 30th game.

i plan on attending. as to who i attend with i am unsure at the moment.

I am attending... grabbing as much of my team as possible. We might try to go with Dessert Pirates or Mountaineer pirates... But E.V.A.C. is open for Sub Rosa Operatives too...


we'd prefer pirates but are will to bounce to Sub Rosa in any needed Case.

I'm sticking evac guys on Pirates. Paulsen still on SRO, unless he changes his mind. I'm filling out teams with conservative guesstimates. And if everyone wants to wear woodland on pirates, that is not a problem. But we do have the Pie option if needed.

I'll be attending as a mountaineer (along with my Jebediah Smith look)! LOL

Hello all. I would like to take part in this event. I just got my gun from ohio yesterday but it may need work so i can't participate in operation desert shanty tomorrow. I will however be at ABQ tomorrow. I also figured it would be nice to play at ABQ with you guys before being thrown on a team as "the new guy".

As for teams, my vest is kind on contractor looking. It's tan(75%) and black(25%). My mask and kneepads however are digital kind of like this...

It looks tan at a distance but it's not listed on the teams. As for shirt and pants i can just buy whatever colors just to try and make my team a little more obvious.

Sooo... I'm thinking i will probably be desert pirate or some form of contractor. You guys tell me what you think.

PS: I don't know where this field is.
