The New Mexico Airsofters 2nd Retreat is this Saturday hosted by Team A.T.A.C.
The purpose of this retreat is to help fellow Airsofters understand their gear, and learn how to fix it when it breaks. There will be plenty of us from the team and others to help you fix those broken guns, or just teach you how to work on them yourself. We will also be going over simple tactics to help you further your playing experience at Airsoft events. Oh and did I mention that its FREE!
All we ask is for you to bring something to contribute to our BBQ. We will need things like Chips, Hot dogs, Burgers, and anything else you may want to bring. But please contact me and tell me what you plan on bringing so i can keep track because we don't want too much of one item.
We would also like you to bring any tables and chairs you have to the NMAR so we can have good seating and such. Most of the day will be all outdoor stuff, so even gazebos will be sufficient. Remember that us people attending are the ones making the experience better. Being as though we make this event feel like an airsofters BBQ get-together, instead of an uptight convention.
With that being said, please post if you plan on coming and let me know what you are going to bring food wise. Also bring a little extra cash, the only thing that we will charge for are parts to fix your gun if necessary and you don't have the extra part with you.
Ill be in attendance with some soda and chips. maybe some of that potato salad again.
I will be teaching some non mandatory classes on tactics and squad communication. to tie into that ill be doing a class on proper radio use and communication, and why it is important.
Come out for a great learning experience and alot of fun.
Take I40E to Tijeras exit# 175. Bare right when exiting towards Tijeras (Hwy 337). At traffic light go straight proceeding on 337s up the mountain approx. 12.0 miles. Turn left on Hwy 217N. You will see The Ponderosa Bar on your left, 100 yards before the turn. Go a short .6 miles and turn left on Lovato Rd. There is a church immediately on your right when you turn left. The house is very first on the left (6 Lovato Rd. Tijeras, 87059
So you know you’re going the right way
After 10 miles of driving up 337s, you will see “the morning star” grocery store on your right side and a fire station on the left. Keep going another 2 miles till you see the Ponderosa bar and Hwy 217N. If you pass the “Ten Points” grocery store on your left, you’ve gone too far.
